Just a random original character.
Sometimes I am quite frustrated that I draw so rarely and have so much shortcomings in anatomy and coloring, but I want to change that in the future.

I like this picture, yet for some reason she reminds me of a jellyfish...looks really cool.

I'm here on behalf of :iconselftaughtartist: because your piece was in the group's critique requested folder.

First off, I would like to say that I love your design and coloring. The tones of blue you use are far closer than anything I would try, but you make it WORK.
Now, I know you know that your anatomy is off. That's good! You know what to work on. :)
In this piece in particular, the two things I would address is her left arm (which appears to not be there) and her left leg. I know how much easier it is to hide limbs behind clothing/other characters/etc, but I think what might help is making sure that you have enough room for her arm to be back there.
Or, better yet, look up stock! There is stock in an abundance here on DA, and the reference for poses in INVALUABLE.
The second thing is her leg. Her right side leg works well, it appears in line with her torso as a probable angle. But, with the angle her left leg is at, it look like her hip is almost in line with her mid thigh of the right leg. Since this is digital, the easiest way to fix this might be to lasso and shift the desired area.

Keep up the good work! Practice is the best tool any artist can have. :D

Really nice colouring with all those shade of blue and the lighting is nice and glowy, but your anatomy is too thin. Also, I can't see her other arm. Not bad though!

anatomy and all that comes with practice ^^ i would pick up an anatomy book and incorperate elements from that into your drawings.

or what helped me a bit is i got daz 3d which is a free 3d program and get the free aiko model. it's an anime based model. study that or use it as an occasional reference. may help ^^

none-the-less wonderful job! love the color choice, design and overall mood of this.
