This is the region, where the player starts his journey. The little flies aren't enemys. They are just bonus monsters, which sway around. If you shoot them up, they fly away and throw balls in all directions.

Your art is always so well done. This is really well put together, it's hard to tell what is part of the tile grid and what is overlay. I'm guessing the trees are part of the tile grid and the red flowers are not. I'm pretty sure the green plants are not tiles. The rocks seem to be both tiles and overlay.

I can't decide if you have more than one layer of tiles or you're being clever about it. There's some repeating in the outline of the landscape, and there's obviously some left-to-right flipping going on. You really have to be paying attention to spot most of it.

You inspire me to try something like this myself. I hope it gets a bunch of money so that you can make another.
